About the role
We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled senior-level machine learning engineer to be a part of our growing team. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the core machine learning systems that power FYLD. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and data scientists, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
We are interested in applications from individuals who hold:
- Ability to complete projects independently and work collaboratively in a team environment
- A passion for high quality data
- Experience with ML, computer vision and NLP libraries (e.g. Sci-Kit Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers)
- Experience with ML techniques (e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, etc.)
- Knowledge and programming experience in Python
- Ability to communicate technical and analytical content in an understandable way
- Experience deploying models on AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Degree in computer science, statistics, or a related discipline (desirable)
Your knowledge, experience and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience with productionising machine learning algorithms
- Good understanding of AWS cloud-based architectures and best practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results driven personality
- Passionate about solving real-world problems using technology
- Amazing debugging and problem solving skills
- Works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- UK based
- Fluent English
- Experience working in B2B SaaS markets (desired)
